Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Site Foreman to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and on schedule. The Site Foreman will be responsible for the supervision and management of all workers assigned to a specific project. He must have the ability to delegate responsibilities as needed. He will report to his direct Supervisor.

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate construction projects to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with Project Managers, Site Supervisor, Client Representative, other contractors, etc.
- Assigns workers to tasks, explain the work and supervise the execution of the work. Monitor work performance and productivity of crew members to ensure customer specifications, procedures, safety requirements, etc. are maintained.
- Supervises and coordinates the work of the Equipment Operators, Truck Drivers and Laborers on the job site.
- Train new workers in the use of equipment and tools and in safety.
- Maintain accurate time sheets and material records and complete client paperwork as required.
- Exercise proper care, maintenance and operation of company equipment
- Advise superintendent and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, ete,; assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent, valid unrestricted Driver's License.
- Minimum 5 years experience in underground utilities, site excavation and building construction trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes in construction. Excellent project management skills to effectively manage and build projects.
